The 1-year quality guarantee, no theater
A guarantee is only worth what it plainly covers. Here is ours, in full.
Covered, for 1 year from delivery
Manufacturing defects: frames that crack under normal use, joints that loosen, hardware that fails, drawers that stop running true, finishes that peel without abuse, seams that open on their own. If it is a defect, the piece is replaced or refunded, your choice, at our cost, shipping included.
Not covered
Normal wear: fabric softening and pilling with use, cushions settling, patina on wood and brass, sun fading, pet enthusiasm, and accidents. Natural variation in wood grain and fabric dye between pieces is not a defect either. We will point you to care guidance where it helps, but we will not pretend wear is a flaw.
How a claim works
Two photos and your order number to hello@oakandhour.com: one of the issue up close, one of the whole piece. We answer within two business days with the plan. No forms and no registration requirement, your order number is the registration.
How this fits with returns
The first 30 days are covered by the return policy for any reason at all. The guarantee picks up from there and runs to the end of year one for defects.
