Refund policy
You have 60 days from delivery to request a return, and we do not charge a restocking fee.
Starting a return
Email hello@oakandhour.com with your order number and the item you would like to return. We will reply with instructions and the correct return address for that item. Return addresses vary by item, so we provide the correct address with your return approval rather than listing one address here.
Contact us before shipping anything. Items sent back without an approved return may not be accepted or processed.
Return condition
Items must be unused and in their original packaging, with all parts, hardware, and fittings included. If the original packaging is no longer available, contact us before assuming the item cannot be returned.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
Inspect your order when it arrives. If an item is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photographs. We will replace it or refund it at our cost. You will not pay return shipping for our mistake.
Change-of-mind returns
For a change-of-mind return on furniture or another large item, the customer arranges and pays return shipping. Return shipping for a large piece can be expensive, so please check dimensions, access, and fit before ordering. We do not charge a restocking fee.
For a change-of-mind return on a small item under $150, contact us before shipping it. In some cases, we may issue the refund without requiring a return when return shipping would exceed the item's value.
Non-returnable items
Gift cards and items clearly marked final sale at the time of purchase cannot be returned. All other products are returnable under the terms above.
Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a different item is to return the item you have and place a separate order for the item you want.
Refunds
Once a return arrives and is inspected, we will confirm whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may need additional time to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, email hello@oakandhour.com.
Order changes and cancellations
Email us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. We will help when we can, but changes or cancellations cannot be guaranteed after an order enters processing or ships. Once an order has shipped, this return policy applies.
