41-Inch Lift-Top Coffee Table with Storage

The Oak & Hour coffee table raises its main panel from a low rectangular profile to a 21.7-inch work surface. A metal gas-lift mechanism guides the movement, revealing hidden storage beneath. An open shelf spans the base for items that remain visible in the closed position.

Closed, the table measures 41.3 inches long, 19.7 inches wide, and 16.5 inches high. The lift panel measures 37.4 by 15.6 inches, with a 3.9-inch-deep compartment below and 8.9 inches of lower-shelf clearance. The closed top supports 110 pounds; ratings are 11 pounds each for the raised top and hidden compartment, and 22 pounds for the shelf. Finishes include Espresso, Black Oak, Black, and Rustic Brown.

Keep fingers clear of the moving panel and use the lift from its intended edge. Do not exceed the much lower 11-pound raised-top rating, and lower it before moving the table. Assemble the gas hardware evenly and recheck fasteners. Keep the gas-lift mechanism and its closing path free of loose objects before every movement.
