About this piece

The Oak & Hour sculptural vase set contains exactly two coordinated stoneware pieces in an off-white bone color. Fine dark speckles interrupt the matte surface with subtle variation. The larger vase forms a broad circular ring with an open center and short neck, creating a clear, balanced outer silhouette.

The smaller piece uses an interlocking crescent shape that contrasts with the larger ring while repeating its rounded geometry. It can be placed beside or partly within the open center of the main form. Both pieces share the same unglazed appearance, speckled surface, and softly neutral color. The large piece's short neck rises above its broad circular opening, while the smaller crescent can tuck into that open center without becoming a connected third form. Both remain separate.

The difference in scale keeps the pair visually distinct without breaking the coordinated composition. Open negative space remains central to both sculptural profiles, allowing their curved edges to stay easy to read.
