About this piece

The Oak & Hour velvet bed hides a full-width storage compartment beneath its upholstered platform. A hydraulic gas-strut system lifts the slatted deck, revealing 10.8 inches of usable height below. Vertical channels shape the wingback headboard, while soft velvet wraps the frame in White, Cream, Black, or Light Gray finishes.

A black steel lift frame and timber slats support up to 800 pounds, with a maximum lifting capacity of 110 pounds. Full dimensions are 79.33 by 57.3 by 42.13 inches; Queen dimensions are 84 by 63.6 by 42.13 inches; King dimensions are 84 by 79.33 by 42.13 inches. Recommended mattress footprints are 54 by 75, 60 by 80, and 76 by 80 inches respectively.

Select the frame and mattress sizes as a matching pair before ordering. Leave enough room at the foot and sides to raise the platform safely, and keep hands clear of the steel hinges and gas struts. Distribute stored items evenly below the deck without exceeding the 110-pound lifting limit. Assemble every slat and frame connection before operating the lift, and clean velvet only by the upholstery-care directions.
