About this piece
The Oak & Hour platform bed balances warm acacia wood with natural woven cane. Exactly three rectangular rattan panels fill the tall headboard, mirrored by three matching panels across the lower footboard. Straight side rails, slim tapered legs, and an open elevated stance give the king or queen frame a clear mid-century rhythm.
The king frame measures 84.2 by 78.3 by 43.1 inches and fits a 79.9-by-75.9-inch mattress. The queen measures 84.2 by 62.6 by 43.1 inches and fits a 79.9-by-59.8-inch mattress. Wood slats support up to 800 pounds without a box spring, and the footboard stands 20.38 inches high.
Choose the frame size by the mattress dimensions as well as the outer bedroom footprint; the mattress is sold separately. Leave 7.88 inches of floor clearance unobstructed around the tapered legs. All bed components arrive in one box, so measure doors, halls, stairs, and turns before bringing the package to the bedroom.
