Walnut Slatted-Door 59-Inch Media Console

The Oak & Hour media console gives a low, linear cabinet mid-century character through warm walnut grain and a slatted front. Two sliding doors travel across the face to reveal or conceal storage, while a centered open shelf and drawer create an orderly focal point for media components and everyday accessories.

The console measures 58.5 inches wide, 13.5 inches deep, and 17 inches high. A smooth walnut wood-grain laminate wraps the case, and four tapered splayed legs hold the cabinet above the floor. The central shelf remains open for convenient component access; the drawer below separates smaller items from the compartments behind the two slatted doors.

Confirm the shallow 13.5-inch depth against component sizes and cable connections before assembly. Keep the sliding-door tracks clear, balance stored weight across the case, and place frequently used electronics in the open shelf with ventilation around them. Level all four splayed legs so the doors travel evenly. Dust between the slats with a soft brush and wipe the laminate with a lightly damp cloth.
