About this piece
The Oak & Hour storage set includes exactly five soft off-white baskets handmade from thick coiled cotton rope. Neat horizontal stitches shape low oval-rectangular walls around clean unlined interiors. Two short wire-reinforced loop handles sit at the narrow ends of every basket, leaving the long sides uninterrupted.
Five graduated sizes range from 12.6 by 9 by 4.3 inches down to 8 by 6 by 2.8 inches. The three middle baskets measure 11 by 8.3 by 3.8 inches, 10.2 by 7.5 by 3.5 inches, and 9.5 by 6.7 by 3 inches. Strong flat bases support the flexible cotton construction.
Nest all five for compact storage, or distribute the sizes among a dresser, vanity, shelf, or desk. Use both end handles when carrying a filled basket and keep the load within the low walls. Reshape the soft rope by hand after unpacking, allowing each flat base and rounded corner to regain its intended form. The five depths also graduate from 4.3 to 2.8 inches, preserving the stepped look when the complete set is fanned together.
